Hello!
My name is Kim, and I can't wait to tell your story.
For now, though? Here's mine. I was born and raised in New Jersey, where I grew up riding horses. I began to play with cameras when I was young, and stuck with it through school, taking as many classes as I could while I worked on my degree. My love for live music went hand-in-hand with my passion for photography, and I began to hone my skills at concerts and music festivals in the Mid-Atlantic region.
After graduation, I found myself working in the horse world again, grooming for FEI event barns and A-circuit hunter/jumper barns before I found my home riding and training my paint mare, Lyla, in dressage. Somewhere along the way I landed a job writing, editing, and taking pictures for a travel blog. Over the past few years, the "small" blog has grown into one of the top-three most visited travel information websites in the country. When I'm not riding or writing, I spend as much of my time as possible behind the lens, capturing scenes from my travels, from the barn, and from the front row.

I am a proud user of the Micro Four Thirds system, and I shoot with a variety of Olympus bodies and lenses.
